Launch privacy notice
This notice covers information submitted through the Certified DJs launch-interest and privacy-request forms. It does not cover account, booking, payment or Carnival document processing inside the main platform.
Who controls this information
Certified DJs is responsible for the launch-interest list and the decisions made about its use.
What we collect
For launch interest, we collect your name, email address, self-selected role, main interest, optional message, required privacy acknowledgement, optional marketing choice, the notice versions you accepted and the page path used to submit.
For a privacy request, we collect the email address connected with the request, the request type and any optional details you choose to provide.
Why we use it
- To record and respond to your launch interest or specific business enquiry.
- To distinguish DJs, sound systems, buyers, venues, agencies and business enquiries.
- To send launch or private-preview updates only when you make that optional choice.
- To receive and review access, correction, withdrawal or erasure requests.
- To protect the forms from duplicate or automated submissions.
Your acknowledgement and marketing choice
The required privacy acknowledgement records that you have read this notice and asked Certified DJs to store and respond to the submission. It is separate from the optional choice to receive broader launch and private-preview updates. Leaving that optional box unticked does not stop us from responding to the enquiry you submit.
Email acknowledgements
A launch-list record can be received even when an automatic email is unavailable. Branded acknowledgement emails are enabled only after the sending service and monitored reply path have been verified. Provider acceptance is not treated as inbox delivery.
Storage, access and sharing
Launch-interest and privacy-request records are kept in a private operational database. They are not shown on public profiles, sold, or placed in AI context. Access is limited to people who need it to operate the launch or review a privacy request. A contracted email provider may receive the minimum details needed to send an acknowledgement once that service is enabled.
Retention and your choices
We review and remove launch-interest data when the launch phase ends or sooner when it is no longer needed. You can request access, correction, withdrawal or erasure below. A request is recorded for review and is not presented as completed until that work has actually been confirmed.
